hi guys , wazzzzaaaa

i have this lil problem with my ET , i cant join 2.60 and 2.60b servers, last time i tryed a message appear saying :
" couldn't load an official pak file;
verify your installation and make sure
it has been updated to the latest
version. "

maybe some of you will say i need to update my pb , but when im trying to do that it give me ERROR from web server: 302 found :/

Install a new ET i already did that twice but i didnt get a full pb and i think thats weird .

what else hummm , pbsetup never worked when i update my ET with it i cant connect to ET an error message appear

google it ??? !!!
google always take me back to evenbalance .

idk if i forgot something .

oh yea sometimes i also get kicked from a normal server 2.55 patch , jaymod whatever by pb but idk why .

anyway help me guys plzzzz .

which version of pb update did you use...erm...check this link, OP give a link for PBSETUP. http://www.clan-etc.de/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1287
Is that normal to have a DOS window showing up ?

ps : ah yes, you used pbweb...try the link, it should work!


edit : about the error you get...its pretty sure that the game is still in 2.55 version ( its not a problem PB related). you need to patch to 2.60 or 2.60b. there is a link for the patch selector http://www.filefront.com/8386479/Simple ... -Selector/ ... hope that helps

i have a pb v 1.4
For the pbsetup it dont work with me when i download it and excute it , i get a really big error and i cant even connect to my ET.
Last time when i tried to excute it, it stuck in my pc and then it took my some time to uninstall it. i prefer not to use it , i mean i tried it few times :/
I took this screen shot while updating my pb because i dont have an auto update , i update manually.
the auto update button dont appear in my ET :/

Thx for the patch selector but i have one already and it still give the same message , i will try the one u gave me .

pbsetup works now at last ; but i still cant connect it always give me the same error when i try to connect : couldn't load an official pak file ; ....
but the error in pb disappear i think thats because pbsetup works.
