Problems with new Mod.

Can anyone please help me with the new Mod, My Res does not look right and Im not able to rename myself, I asked on the server with no help My simple .cfg file i use does not work, My Res is set to 1920x1080. do i have to create a new file or something, this has totally got me baffled, please help me, thank you.

Delete and reload ET I think is the best solution and if it don't work after that post it here again ;D

when you connect to server, set your resolution lower than your standart res. then put it back to your standard res... thats my way

do you use a auto exec?
If yes:
do you connect with the standart et botton on your desktop?
if yes:
rightclick on it -> properties -> go to the "ziel" window (dont know how it is named in the english win version, but look at the pictture) and write after the et.exe [space]+autoexec.cfg

I do have a very simple autoexec.cfg file

seta Name "^0ETc|^1M^7ike^tJ"
seta r_customwidth "1920"
seta r_customheight "1080"
seta r_mode "-1"

com_hunkmegs 128

com_maxfpx 76

m_pitch 0.0151
m_yaw 0.022

I been able to get everything looking right except i can not change my name from Unnameplayer.
I connect to the server using SL.
I just got off the server begging for help. said i was a member of the clan and said my name, only response i got was someone saying (your clan).
Im sorry to say, but it disappointed me, made me fell like an outsider.

I did just try what you said, Ziel means target, and it did not fix my name problem, I thank you for your assistance.
Like i said, everything is finally right except my name, I even Google with no help.

Even SL says im playing on ETc server as ETc|MikeJ, but still in game i can not change my name from Unnamedplayer ETv|MikeJ
I also checked the etconfig file located in Nitmod/ profiles/MikeJ and it says seta Name "^0ETc|^1M^7ike^tJ"

save your config and delete your etmain and nitmod profile in these both folders...create a new profile with your nick ETc|MikeJ...perhaps this can help?!

...and btw i have seen you on server today,but i dont understand what your problem was...i think most of us had the same problem.ingame is there to play and not to discuss bro.while playing you can not read every word in chat.
we have a nice forum where you can ask for help,and you see that you get anwsers:)....and when ingame,then pm and not mainchat.
