Ping, and cl_timenudge

Hm, yesterday Otto has 0 ping. We laugh about it ;p, but i think it must be a bug, or sth. Isn't 0 ping impossible to reach? If otto plays from Turkey how could it be possible to have less than 1/1000 sec time from packets sent and received? This has nothing to do with capacity (i think this is wrong word) of your connection.
And second one.
cl_timenudge -50 means that in some way, ping 50 is reducted to 0? How does it work?

timenudge is just a command to fake the ping nothing more, its useless to have it, and over hlsw i can see the right ping of a player

yeh Jay is right.
Just put your timenudge to 0. maxpackets 100. Put on a good rate and you must be fine .. I guess.

why some1 set such an useless command? So I can play with ping 800, set timenudge so admin can't see that i am pretending to be kicked? lol

Maybe they set Timenudge to feeling better??
But its absolutly useless!
my normal ping is about 100
if i use timenuge -50 its shown 60 ping.
But i allready have 100 not 60 Ping.like Jay say :Its just a Fake!

Funny i never knew this befor today...
i alweays have -40 timenudge and got 5 ping indeed and normal 45..
