Firing of effect Streets of Italy

Sometimes when I play the map ''Streets of Italy'' then I just walk somewhere, in once I hear ''Firing for effect!''.
A plain comes over the map and releases a huge bomb and you herre Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieuuuuuuuuw

What is it?

i believe its for the mission to break the church open so you can get the gold but i am not sure
